The collaboration eliminates the need for wiring or battery replacements and sets a new benchmark for smart lock design.
Designed for both homes and commercial buildings, the Kontrol BIO+ combines advanced biometric recognition with continuous, maintenance-free wireless power delivered by Wi-Charge. Users can unlock doors through face recognition, palm-vein recognition, fingerprint, passcode, IC card, mobile app, or mechanical key, with on-device storage and privacy-first controls ensuring secure access. Select models also include an integrated exterior camera and interior display for live view and prompts.
By powering Kontrol’s smart lock wirelessly, Wi-Charge enables a truly maintenance-free user experience, no dead batteries, no battery swaps, not getting locked outside, significantly lowering the cost of ownership for property managers and the charging hassle for homeowners. The Wi-Charge AirCord™ system delivers safe FDA, FCC, UL and IEC approved infrared power over line-of-sight distances of up to 10 meters (30 feet), ensuring locks remain continuously powered without service interruptions.
