R&D

Electronics Manager

The electronics team is responsible for electronic system architecture, PCBA design and validation, and failure analysis. It is the glue that connects the mechanical, optical and software modules and is responsible for the interface through which our devices connect to those of our customers.

Our areas of expertise are electro-optical components and highly-efficient power electronics.

The role is 50% hands-on.
 

Required

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering.

  • 10 years of experience developing PCBAs or managing hardware teams.

  • Team management experience.

  • Experience in developing for mass production - DFM, cost optimization, automatic test setups.

Advantage

  • Experience in electro-optical systems.

  • Experience in power electronics.

System Integration Manager

A multi-disciplinary manager with a deep R&D background to found the system integration team.  Work closely with all R&D and Operations teams, define system integration processes and setups, generate and execute test plans, report results and provide feedback to other R&D teams during all stages of development.

The role starts as mostly hands-on and will grow into a management one as the team grows.

Required

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience in developing hardware systems as an engineer, system engineer, and manager.

  • Strong process and project management skills.

  • Experience in managing and building teams from scratch.

  • Experience with automation infrastructure development.

Advantage

  • Experience with electro-optical systems and setups.

Product Development Manager

Our devices connect to many end-products and use different accessories. These require a definition of the problem and the product, selection of a technological concept, and its implementation as a POC, in small scale production, or in mass-production.

In this role you will manage this process and be the main contributor to it, working with R&D and Operations teams, customers, contractors and suppliers.

Required

  • BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

  • A strong sense of user experience and elegant design.

  • Experience as an electrical or mechanical engineer.

  • Experience in selecting and managing suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Strong project management skills.

Advanced ATE Systems Manager

A multi-disciplinary manager with a deep R&D background to found the Advanced ATE Systems team. Responsible for developing complex electro-optical active alignment, calibration, and test systems for high-volume production. 
The role combines team and project management responsibilities. You will own both the team's tasks and the supporting tasks in other R&D and Operations teams.
The role starts as mostly hands-on and will grow into a management one as the team grows.

Required

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • A strong, multi-disciplinary R&D background.

  • Experience in leading development of complex testers for high-volume production.

  • Team management experience and strong project management skills.

  • Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team.

Advantage

  • Experience in electro-optical systems.

ATE Engineer (Hardware Oriented)

Our automated test setups are complex electro-mechano-optical systems driven by sophisticated software.

Design, implement and support automated tests for systems, sub-assemblies and components. Write test procedures, debug and troubleshoot tests. Build dashboard and reports to monitor test results and production metrics.

Required

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering, SW Engineering or equivalent.

  • Python - at least 3 years.

  • Hardware oriented - experienced with mechanical, optical and electronic equipment.

  • Experience in operating and automating electronic equipment (supplies, DMMs, motors, etc.)

Advantage

  • Experience in LabVIEW.

  • Experience in C#.

Physicist

Our physics team runs deep R&D tasks over a broad range of disciplines: electro-optics, semiconductors, magnetics, algorithms and more.

In this role you will take part in developing a new technology and be responsible for both experimental and theoretical aspects.

Required

  • BSc in Physics or Engineering.

  • Experience with complex, multi-disciplinary systems.

  • Experience in modeling/analysis of complex systems.

  • Proven ability for independent research. 

Advantage

  • A higher Physics or Engineering degree.

  • Experience with complex Electro-Optical systems.

  • Experience with MATLAB and/or Python.

Operations

Production Planner & Controller

A decision maker that takes actions, remain calm and ensure productiveness.

Know in detail what is the status of each part or system. Plan, schedule and monitor material movement and production activities in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations. Track and monitor material shortages and provide immediate resolution. Develop process improvements for inventory, manufacturing, and production. Plan equipment, material, and manpower requirements to meet production schedule.

Required

  • BSc degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience in Planning & Control.

  • Experience in implementing ERP systems.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Advantage

  • Experience in managing subcontractors.

  • Ability to adjust quickly to new processes and procedures.

  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems.
