Wi-Charge technology can be packaged in many different ways, depending on the particular application in mind. We created different versions of working engineering samples that can be used to illustrate the power of Wi-Charge. Apply for beta to integrate Wi-Charge technology into your new product.

The embedded wireless power transmitter allows OEM to integrate wireless power into their products. It is a turnkey solution for a “remote power supply” to the client device. We have demonstrated sample integrations into light fixtures, but the module could also be embedded in wall-mounted devices, communications equipment and more.

Multiple modules can be cascaded to provide even more power.

The Wi-Charge embedded wireless power receivers are easy to embed into exciting new products. Together with the wireless power transmitters, they provide a turnkey ‘remote power supply’ solution.

For example, the phone in this picture charges without wires. It receives wireless power from a Wi-Charge transmitter via an embedded receiver.

LIGHTS is an example integration of a wireless power supply for mobile and multimedia applications, such as phone charging (via dongle or sleeve accessories), wireless webcams, wireless audio, and wearables. LIGHTS fits scenarios with energy consumption of up to 50 Wh/day, where wiring or battery recharging would be impractical.

LIGHTS is not being sold as a consumer product at this time. It is an example integration to help our OEM partners.

KIIK is an example integration of a mid-range wireless power supply, geared toward heavier IoT applications. It can also serve as entry-level wireless power for mobile and multimedia applications, such as phone-charging dongles, wireless webcams, and wireless audio. KIIK fits scenarios with energy consumption of up to 24 Wh/day, where wiring or battery replacement/recharging is impractical or undesirable.

KIIK is not being sold as a consumer product at this time. It is an example integration to help our OEM partners.

External Receiver
External Receiver

The external Wi-Charge receiver offers wireless power for products that do not yet embed a Wi-Charge receiver. A standard connector provides power to the device.

External receivers can be a dongle using µUSB or Lightning connectors. They can also be embedded in a phone case. They offer a powerful and convenient bridge to power existing devices over distance.

The Wire-free Qi charger is an excellent example of a bridge between tomorrow’s charging technology and today’s phone.

It includes a standard Qi pad that is compatible with many modern phones including those by Apple and Samsung. The pad is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery that can provide high current. The battery is, in turn, charged using the built-in Wi-Charge wireless power receiver.

RAYO Transmitter
RAYO Transmitter

RAYO is an example implementation that provides wireless power functionality for home automation, smart building, and industrial IoT infrastructures. Target devices include smoke and motion detectors, thermostats, smart meters, beacons, and electronic labels. RAYO fits scenarios with total energy consumption of up to 12 Wh/day, in deployment scenarios where wiring and/or battery replacement are impractical or undesirable.
